Nordland Insurance Agency is a third generation-owned business that celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2017. The business was started in 1937 by Louis Nordland as an insurance agency and finance business in conjunction with Opitz Motor Company. When Louis passed away in 1965 his son, Ed Nordland, took over and ran the business for almost 50 years. Ed passed away in 2014 and the business is now owned by Ed’s daughter, Holly Stansbury and her husband Pete. Nordland Insurance is an independent agency representing several companies and offer a full line of insurance products including home, auto, commercial, farm, crop, life and health.
