Pete and Holly are the husband and wife ownership team of Nordland Agency, Inc. They have a vision that Nordland Agency will always attempt to do what is right for their customers with honesty, integrity and a sense of family. Holly is the granddaughter of the agency's founder, Louis Nordland. Holly and Pete assumed ownership of the agency in 2014 when Edward Nordland, Holly's father, passed away. They have 2 adult children, Jared and Taylor.

Holly was born and raised in Clarinda and has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After college she moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she taught 2nd and 3rd grades. Then it was off to Bloomington, Illinois and Scottsbluff, Nebraska before returning to Clarinda in 1997. During her spare time, Holly enjoys crafting and sewing, Husker sports and playing with her 3 dogs, Rex, Jojo and Bella. She is also an avid reader and reads over 100 books a year. She is licensed in Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Life and Health Insurance and Crop Insurance but her primary focus in the agency is as the Business Manager. She also works with customers on Medicare supplements.

Pete was born and raised in St. Helens, Oregon, playing primarily baseball and basketball as he grew up. He has a Bachelor's degree in Education from Northwest Missouri State University, where he also played baseball and a Master's degree in Athletic Training from Illinois State University. Pete worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer for 15 years. During his spare time, he enjoys woodworking and sports. Over the years, he has spent time volunteering as a coach of several youth sports teams. He believes deeply in the values that sports can teach our younger generations. Along with his duties as the agency principle, Pete is licensed in Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Life and Health and Crop Insurance. He is licensed in the states of Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska and Arizona.
